This policy covers the data we handle as a controller — that is, data about people who visit this website or enquire about our service.
When we provide our service to a business customer, their customers' personal data is handled by us as a processor acting on that business's instructions, under a separate Data Processing Agreement. In that case the business — not Receptiko — decides how that data is used, and their own privacy notice applies.

We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.
Our service answers telephone calls on behalf of business customers. Calls are recorded and transcribed so the system can take bookings and messages accurately, and so faults can be investigated. Where we handle those calls for a business customer, that business is the controller of the call data and we act on their instructions.
If you call a business that uses Receptiko and do not wish the call to be handled this way, you can ask to be called back or contact that business by another method.
We use a small number of trusted suppliers to run the service. Each is bound by contract to protect the data and use it only to provide their service to us:
Some suppliers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable format. Email hello@receptiko.ai and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Access to personal data is limited to those who need it. Credentials and keys are stored as encrypted environment variables, never in our source code, and data in transit is encrypted.
